Three communal kitchens each with electric stove and dishwashing facilities.  Although we expect students to leave the kitchen facilities neat and tidy after use, these communal kitchens are cleaned daily. We also encourage students to make use of these facilities due to the high fire risk of the use of open plate stoves in the rooms.

A laundry facility with four Speed Queen Washing Machines and three Speed Queen Tumble Dryers.  All these machines are token operated and tokens maybe bought from the manager at nominal costs

• Comfortable seating with table and chairs.

Finances permitting, we are planning to add a pool table and a table tennis table to this facility.

This very popular restaurant is leased from Unitas Herberg. It has access directly from Logemanstreet next to Unitas Herberg’s entrance gate closer to the Universitas Hospital.

They provide affordable meals and is especially popular with the students and medical personal working in the Universitas Hospital.

It is brightly decorated with a relaxed atmosphere. Many a student has spent time there whilst working having a cup of coffee on the side.
